Hollywood Secrets Fashion Show

Mesha celebrating the end of her first show.
On May 16 after the rain cleared, JCJ&Co put on their first production “Hollywood Secrets” at Club Aqua. Jamesha Johnson and her team worked hard and diligently to put together an upscale event that celebrated her graduation from Virginia State University, Haus of Klyde’s Summer/Spring Collection, Shop Runway Couture, and new up and coming models.
B Sounds interacting with the audience

The show was hosted by B Sounds the ADHD Bandit and he kept the energy of the crowd up and ready for the show. Unlike any other host I ever seen B Sounds was very personable with the crowd making the upbeat and fun filled. The show was opened by artist Woodz whose music kept not only B Sounds but the audience as well moving across the room.  Word says he will be seen on BET’s 106&Park in a few weeks, can’t wait to see what the future has for him.

Mesha started with her search for models early, using social networking, and word of mouth to find the perfect set of models. These models were seen on the flyer and were also used for promotion, having them go out and pass out flyers. She found models that were unique and humble, although this were most of their first show there was a high level of professionalism. The models bought life to the theme of the show, and bought energy and charisma to the runway. Of course my model Grace was seen on the runway with other runway divas such as, Tatyanna, and Natalie and new male models Nikkolai and Kasan. I credit the rest of the models on doing a great job.

The fashion seen in “Hollywood Secrets” directly reflected the theme and the audience of the show. JCJ&Co’s sexy women’s wear included lace crop tops, form fitting dress, and her men’s bowties. Haus of Klyde showed a mixture of his couture evening wear, and sexy cocktail dress, and along with his men’s wear styled and inspired by the 20’s. Shop Runway Couture showed a variety a RTW pieces in an array of trending textiles. The models also brought it with the own all black, and popping accessories.

My overall experience with JCJ&Co first fashion was both positive and relaxed. Never have I ever in my life as a designer trust someone to choose my song, and my line up for a show, but I knew Mesha would choose the perfect mix, and the perfect line up of models. Throughout the show Mesha was holding down the backstage, and keeping up with the high energy of the audience. I Look forward to being a part of every show produced by JCJ&Co.
